William Kellum Earns Perfect Scores on PSAT and ACT

March 3, 2025 - Lexington Christian Academy is proud to recognize junior William Kellum (Class of 2026) for his extraordinary academic achievements. William recently earned a perfect score of 1520 on the PSAT and a perfect composite score of 36 on the ACT, placing him among the top students nationwide.

William’s commitment to academic excellence is further reflected in his 4.0 unweighted GPA and his rigorous coursework, having completed or currently enrolled in seven Advanced Placement (AP) courses. His dedication has earned him a place in an elite and highly competitive summer program at Vanderbilt University, where he will continue expanding his knowledge and skills in preparation for his future studies.

“We are incredibly proud of William and all that he has accomplished,” said Dr. Cassondra Koett, LCA High School Principal. “His hard work, intellect, and dedication to excellence set a remarkable example for his peers. We look forward to seeing all that he will achieve in the future.”

William aspires to pursue a degree in chemical engineering and hopes to attend Vanderbilt University for his undergraduate education. In addition to his impressive academic record, William is also a talented pianist who enjoys sharing his love for music.

Amy Cornell, LCA’s College and Career Counselor, also praised William’s achievements, stating, “William’s intellectual curiosity, determination, and work ethic have set him apart. He approaches every challenge with enthusiasm and a desire to learn, and I have no doubt that he will continue to achieve incredible things. It has been an absolute joy to work with him on his academic journey.”
