Leadership

Welcome from our Head of School

Welcome to Lexington Christian Academy! We are glad you are interested in learning more about our amazing school and trust you will easily find the information you seek. We know there are many educational choices available to parents today with a wide variety of emphases, from academics to co-curricular activities like athletics and the arts. While we certainly excel in those areas, they are secondary to our primary mission to equip and nurture students to fulfill God's calling on their lives through Christ-centered education. That is our standard, and we actively seek students, parents, and employees longing to be a part of this faith-based family.

Training students to become well-adjusted, responsible young adults is more challenging today than ever and requires an integrated collaboration between the home, the church, and the school. As King Solomon wrote, “a chord of three strands is not easily broken,” and that strength in unity lets our students weather the storms of an increasingly hostile culture. We pray that those seeking Christ-centered instruction to meet their family educational needs will reach out to explore those possibilities with us.

For the 2022-23 school year, our scripture passage is I Peter 1:14-16, As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written, “Be holy, because I am holy.”

We ask for your continued prayers and support, and we invite you to join us as we articulate to a lost world the hope and salvation found only in Jesus Christ!

Sincerely,
Dr. Scott Wells
