LCA Welcomes New Elementary Principal

LCA is pleased to announce, after an extensive search, our new Elementary Principal is Mr. Thad Highbaugh.

Mr. Highbaugh is currently serving as Elementary Principal at Merwin Elementary in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to joining Merwin Elementary, Mr. Highbaugh served as the Dean of Students for Mariemont Elementary, also in Cincinnati. He previously served as a coach at LCA from 2010-2012, assisting with the Junior High and Varsity Football, Varsity Baseball, and Varsity Girls Basketball programs while attending the University of Kentucky.

Mr. Highbaugh has been married to his wife, Jen, for almost 7 years. Thad and Jen met while serving at the Christian Student Fellowship at UK. They have three daughters, Elliana, Emery, and Aria. 

"LCA is an amazing community that my family and I are excited to get to be a part of again. After spending the last 10 years in public education, we feel like God is calling us into this ministry opportunity to help ignite a passion for Christ and a love for learning. Our students will receive a top-notch education that is empowered with prayer and led by teachers who love the Lord. I am looking forward to working in collaboration with our amazing staff, engaging with our parents, and building on our community partnerships to create unique experiences for our students. We will help students identify and realize their potential, purpose, and passion in a way that will impact the world for Christ."
