Michelle Sapp has taught at LCA for the past 12 years and currently teaches history in our 6th Grade Academy. She and her husband, Tim, have three daughters, Madison, Gracie, and Emma Claire. When not teaching, Mrs. Sapp enjoys boating, traveling and going on walks.

Why do you love LCA? I love LCA because it feels like home. It's like a small community of its own in Lexington.

Why do you choose to work at LCA? I choose to work at LCA because I feel like God called me here. I want to fulfill His plan for my life.

What do students get at LCA that they won't get somewhere else? Students get the opportunity to learn about Christ through all the subject areas. They get to learn more about God and how all things are reflected in His creation.

What sets LCA students apart from other students? I feel like LCA students a very well-rounded. They have servant hearts and a love for learning.

How does LCA prepare students for success in college and beyond? LCA prepares students to be successful in college by offering a college prep curriculum, honors classes and AP classes. Students develop leadership qualities that will help them excel in and out of the classroom. LCA helps prepare students to fulfill God's calling on their lives.

How is faith and learning integrated at LCA? Faith and learning are integrated at LCA throughout the curriculum. Biblical World Integration is a part of each unit conducted. It is front and foremost in what we teach.

What is a unique experience, talent or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students? I like to make learning fun and hands on. I believe that the more the students are engaged with the instruction, the more they will learn and retain.
