Mrs. Lea Clark - New 6th-8th Asst. Principal

We are excited to announce that Mrs. Lea Clark is our new 6th-8th Grade Assistant Principal. She has served 16 years as a teacher at LCA, and we are blessed to have her join our leadership team.

Throughout her tenure she has served on a variety of committees and teams such as the education committee, diversity council, 6-8 innovation team, learning management system committee, 6-8 spiritual life director search committee, faculty council, and the school accreditation team. Prior to working at LCA, she served as a curriculum developer for Standard Publishing, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and as a director of children’s ministry at Southern Acres Christian Church, in Lexington, Kentucky. Mrs. Clark and her husband, Brian, have three children, Eli, Will, and Briley who are alums of LCA.

Mrs. Clark will continue in her role as the physical science teacher until a replacement is hired. It is our hope to have her replacement hired prior to the conclusion of the fall semester so Mrs. Clark can help the new teacher transition into his or her role as the classroom instructor. It is our goal for Mrs. Clark to assume her new role as the assistant principal and for the new teacher to assume full responsibility of teaching the physical science curriculum at the start of the spring semester.
