Lexington, Kentucky (November 12, 2024) – It is an honor to announce the hiring of Coleman Marshall as Lexington Christian Academy’s (LCA) new Director of Admissions, effective January 13, 2025. Coleman Marshall, a native of Lexington and a proud 2006 alumnus of LCA, brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and passion to this role.

His multi-faceted background in education and leadership at LCA equips him with the insight and experience needed to lead the admissions department with excellence.
When asked about his new role, Marshall shared, “I am looking forward to joining our stellar admissions department and stepping into this new role as the Director of Admissions at LCA. As an alum, educator, coach, and principal, I have seen the school from many angles. LCA made such an impact on my life, and I am thrilled to go out and be an ambassador for the school. We want to equip and nurture students to fulfill God’s calling on their lives through Christ-centered education. I can’t wait to share all the amazing ways LCA fulfills its mission with prospective families and the community.”
Dr. Scott Wells, LCA Head of School-Superintendent, expressed his confidence in Marshall’s appointment. “It is a joy to welcome Coleman to his new role as Director of Admissions. Coleman has a long history with our school, and his devotion to LCA and the Kingdom, his strong work ethic, and his clear commitment to the concept of covenant Christian education are exceptional. His passion for Christian education and dedication to student success are evident in everything he does. We are excited for the future of our admissions department under his leadership.”
Coleman Marshall’s new role as Director of Admissions marks the continuation of his lifelong connection with LCA, where he will help shape the future by welcoming and guiding prospective families to become part of the LCA community.
Although he and his family are not new to LCA, we ask you to help us welcome and encourage him in his new role.
