LCA Teacher Spotlight - Jenna Gudalis

Mrs. Gudalis with her family on Senior
Night for the LCA Girls Soccer Team.

Mrs.  Jenna Gudalis has taught at LCA for the past seven years and currently teaches PE for 7th and 8th grade girls. She and her husband, Brian, have four children who attend LCA: Lauren (senior), Cade (junior), Cooper (8th grade) and Bennett (5th grade). Her hobbies include spending a lot of time watching her kids play sports, going on dates with her husband and just enjoying her family.

Why do you love LCA? I love LCA simply for the opportunity for students to openly discuss and learn about Jesus Christ. I choose to work here because I absolutely 100% adore the students.

What do students get at LCA that they won't get somewhere else? Students at LCA know that they are loved and they can come to any teacher at any time and talk about whatever they need to talk about. LCA is a very safe place for students. Teachers want to be here for the students because we care deeply about their souls.

What sets LCA students apart from other students? Their hearts for the Lord and for the community.

How does LCA prepare students for success in college and beyond? LCA is tough academically and has prepared my children for college in many ways, specifically regarding their study habits.

How is faith and learning integrated at LCA? Faith is a part of every day learning at LCA. We try to integrate Biblical principles in every lesson.

What is a unique experience, talent or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students? I like to think that I am funny and that I can make anything fun. I really enjoy teaching only girls and there is a real camaraderie between the girls and me.
