Class of 2021 Co-Valedictorians & Salutatorian Named

Congratulations to Leah Massa and Brady Wortz, who were named the Class of 2021 Co-Valedictorians and to Reese Lycan, who was named the Class of 2021 Salutatorian. The students learned the news by being surprised on Thursday, May 14th by Dr. Cassondra Koett, LCA High School Principal, along with the LCA College Counselors, Heather Riley and Joshua Palmer.  

Brady Wortz was involved in the LCA Leadership Forum, Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta, and the French Honor Society. He will attend Wake Forest University and plans to major in biology on the pre-med track. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Leah Massa was an LCA Beta Club Officer and a Mu Alpha Theta Officer as well as a member of the Academic Team, Young Progressives Club, Latin Club, LCA Leadership Forum, and Leadership Lexington Youth Program. She is also on the LCA Tennis team. Leah will attend Colgate University and plans to major in psychological sciences.

 

 

 

 

Reese Lycan's activities and involvement at LCA included: Y-club President; Student Forum Founder; Swim Team; Dance Blue Committee; National Honors Society; Beta Club; Academic Team; Leadership Forum; Mu Alpha Theta; French Club; French Honors Society. She will attend the University of South Carolina Honors College and plans to major in biochemistry or political science before attending graduate school. 

 

 

All three students will be honored during LCA's graduation set for Saturday, May 22, 2021.
