Alumni Spotlight - Rachel Elam

Rachel Elam attended LCA for 12 years and graduated in 2014. She went on to earn a bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in management from Georgetown College. She is currently a Licensed Service Assistant and Vice President of Marketing at Wealth Coach of Kentucky (dba Larry Botts & Associates), while being mentored to be a Financial Advisory in her family's firm. She is also a beekeeper with her own honey business called Provident Crossing Honey, LLC.

When thinking about your time at LCA, finish this sentence, This is where...:  "I created some of the longest relationships I have to this day."

What did you love most about your time at LCA? How close a lot of us were. I’m still best friends with some of my classmates from kindergarten.

Tell us about one of your favorite memories at LCA: Three friends of mine were in Mrs. Davis’ business class, where we go to create a nanny business. We won a scholarship to Georgetown College for our business in a competition that we participated in.

In what ways did LCA prepare you for college and beyond? The business and English literacy really set me up for success when it came to writing papers and thinking like an entrepreneur.
