Alumni Spotlight - Mary Beth Steger (Class of 2015)

Mary Beth said she loves
being back at LCA and
coaching the Little Eagles. 

Mary Beth Steger attended LCA for 12 years and graduated in 2015. After high school, she attended the University of Kentucky, where she majored in Family and Consumer Sciences with a minor in Community Leadership Development. She currently works at Danville High School under the leadership of the Family Resource Coordinator as a Transitional Success Coordinator. Mary Beth, who was an LCA cheerleader, also started coaching the LCA Little Eagles Cheerleaders. 

When thinking about your time at LCA, finish this sentence, "This is where...": God has placed you at this exact moment in your life. Make it count!

What did you love most about your time at LCA? I loved that the teachers invested themselves into my life. They pushed me to better myself in and outside the classroom.

Tell us about one of your favorite memories at LCA: One of my favorite memories at LCA was our senior trip to New York as well as the memories made during athletic events, Dance Blue, and mission trips.

 

In what ways did LCA prepare you for college and beyond? LCA prepared me very well academically for college. I felt like I had grasped a good concept of time management and education to help me in higher education.
