Alumni Spotlight - Sarah Harper
LCA alum Sarah Harper (’20) recently graduated from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce. Throughout her time at UVA, Sarah pursued concentrations in both Finance and Marketing, along with a track in Business Analytics. These areas of study were rewarding and equipped her with a deep understanding of complex business dynamics. During Sarah’s fourth year, she worked as a Research Assistant at the McIntire School of Commerce. The role not only allowed her to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios, but also sharpened her market research skills.
After graduation, Sarah will begin her career as a Strategy and Management Analyst at Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina.
How many years did you attend LCA? From pre-school through my senior year (Lifer)!
LCA is where: I started my journey and began to discover who I am and my values.
What did you love most about your time at LCA? The faculty, especially my senior year.
Tell us about one of your favorite memories at LCA: Winning back-to-back state championships for the LCA Girls’ Golf Team.
Why do you believe it was important for you to attend LCA? I love the ratio of students to faculty. I felt like I was able to really get to know my teachers. Also, thank you for your continued support and interest in the journeys of alumni. I am grateful to be a part of the LCA community and look forward to staying connected.
