Alumni Spotlight - Taylor Barnette (Class of 2012)

Taylor Barnette graduated from LCA in 2012 and attended the University of Virginia for one year before transferring to Belmont University. He played basketball for both schools and graduated from Belmont with a degree in Corporate Communications with a minor in Christian Leadership. He currently works for the University of Louisville Men's Basketball Program and lives in Louisville. What did you love most about your time at LCA? The friendships that I have that will last a lifetime.

What is one word that best describes the school? Unique - One of very few schools where the mission of everything done is centered around Jesus Christ.

Tell us about one of your favorite memories at LCA. Beating Scott County at Scott County when they were ranked number 1 in the state.

From your own experiences, why do you believe it was important for you to attend LCA? It was good to be poured into from a spiritual stand point at school my whole life.

In what ways did LCA prepare you for college and beyond? The education was at a high level that helped prepare me for college and gave me tools to use for life.

What would you tell a friend to encourage them to send their child(ren) to LCA? You will have a faculty and staff that pours into you, and will make friends that last a lifetime.
