LCA Boys & Girls Track Teams Have Successful State Meet

The LCA Boys and Girls Track teams ended a very successful season with even more success at last week's KHSAA Class A State Track and Field Championship held at the University of Kentucky. Results included:

1st Team All-State

Varsity Boys
Connor Hayes: 1600 Meter Run (1st Place) and 800 Meter Run (1st Place)

2nd Team All-State

Varsity Girls
Annie Sewell: 800 meter run (4th Place)

Varsity Boys
Xavier Brown: 200 meter dash (3rd Place)
Xavier Brown, Evan Brown, Connor Hayes, and Frankie Knight: 4x400 Relay Team (3rd Place - New LCA School Record)

Additional results include:

Sydney Fischer: Pole Vault (5th Place-Tie)

Lillian Samford, Hannah Seamands, Lily Frost, and Annie Sewell: 4x800 Relay (7th Place)

Lilianne Hutchinson: 400 meter dash (8th Place)
