Elementary After-School Programs

• Applications are located in Current Parent Resources under My LCA.
• In the application, families will be able to indicate their desire for Extended Care as well as the days on which they will need care.
• A form will need to be submitted for each child registering for Extended Care.
• You will indicate your needs for the year upon submitting your extended care application.
• We understand some working parents’ days are flexible — you may be able to pick your child(ren) up in carline, but you won’t know until that day. If you know there is a possibility you will need care 5 days a week, please indicate that on the application. When these changes occur, you will need to communicate with teachers and our extended care staff by 2:00 p.m. so your child can be directed to the correct location at dismissal.

• Extended Care is offered Monday - Friday on days school is in session for Preschool-5th grade students. Students are gathered in one location during dismissal and then move to their Extended Care locations around 3:15 p.m.
• All students must be picked up by 5:30 p.m.
• Authorized individuals can begin picking students up around 3:20 p.m. - 3:25 p.m., so we have time to ensure students get their snack, water, and restroom breaks. If you arrive between 3:15 p.m. - 3:25 p.m., your student may not yet be available for pickup as they are in their transition time.

• The monthly fee secures your spot for extended care 5 days a week for the entire school year.
• If you only need care 2-3 days a week, the fee is the same for us to consistently staff our program.
• We will mirror the school’s multi-student discount for dependent students enrolled at LCA. The multi-student discount of 15% will be applied to the third child enrolled in extended care. A 25% reduction will be applied to the fourth and any additional children enrolled in extended care. Full extended care fees will apply to the two children at the highest grade levels.
• Your FACTS account will be charged on the first business day of each month.

• A built in “flex” month will be built into the fee schedule to account for short months (Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, weather closures, early dismissal days, etc.).
• Fee schedule for Extended Care will be as follows:

          August 1- $250
          September 2 - $250
          October 1- $250
          November 1 - $250
          January 6 - $250 
          February 3 - $250
          March 3 - $250         
          April 1 - $250
          May 1 - $250 

• If you want to withdraw and no longer be charged the monthly fee, you will need to notify Extended Care Staff by the 15th of the month prior.
• You may change your enrollment one-time per year without a penalty, if there is a student on the waitlist to fill your spot. If you withdraw, you will not be allowed to re-enroll until the next academic year.

• Our mission is to provide an environment for our kids to feel safe, know they are loved by God and our staff, and to have fun each day. We want to provide this for all our students. We will continue to work to make spots available for newly enrolled families as needed. New families will not be enrolled until staffing allows for additional spots.

• These occur when a student is not picked up at dismissal by 3:15 p.m. Students who are not scheduled for Extended Care and not picked up by 3:15 p.m. will be charged a drop-in fee of $50.
