Elementary
The elementary chorus travels around the Lexington area performing as well as competing at Music in the Parks Festival, in Ohio. They have won 1st place four years in a row for "Elementary School Mixed Choir." Students have the opprotunity to audition and participate in KYACDA Honors Choir as well as KMEA Honor Choir.
6th Grade Academy & Junior High
This award-winning junior high program has received Distinguished ratings at the state-wide KMEA Choral Assessment, both Distinguished and Proficient ratings at the state-wide KMEA Solo & Ensemble competition, and has placed at the top of their division at the Tri-State Music in the Parks Competition. Students perform in school concerts, are cast in the high school musical, perform in the annual Cabaret show, and volunteer in outreach programs to bring music to the community.
High School
LCA offers many opportunities for students who love to sing. Students can participate in Chamber Choir, Men's Chorus, Treble Choir, or the Women's Chorus. These LCA vocal groups have performed all over the country including Chicago, Philadelphia and Radio City Musical Hall in New York City. They have also had amazing experiences performing in Europe as well.
