LCA Welcomes Diana W. Clark as Director of Development

LCA is excited to welcome Diana W. Clark as the new Director of Development. She joins LCA with years of experience in Education and Development, coming to us from her role as Director of Annual Giving at Lexington Catholic High School. Prior to joining Lexington Catholic, Diana served as the Director of Development at Trinity Christian Academy, and Assistant Director of Annual Giving at the Lexington School. Diana brings both proven experience and a faith-based perspective to her role.

During the hiring process, the Search Committee was impressed, by not only Diana’s development experiences, but also her desire to help LCA fulfill its mission, adopt a culture of philanthropy, and foster positive relationships in our community.   Danielle Eckman, Chair of the Advancement Committee and Search Committee member shared, “I am looking forward to having Mrs. Clark join our team. Her passion for Christian education paired with her experiences and fundraising knowledge will be a great asset to LCA. I am confident she will help us fulfill our mission to equip and nurture students to fulfill God’s calling on their lives through Christ-centered education.”

LCA Board Chair, Dr. Rachel Harper, stated “We are thrilled to welcome Diana to our LCA Executive Leadership Team, and we look forward to utilizing her knowledge and experience as we continue to fulfill our school’s mission, vision, and future goals.”  

A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Diana went on to earn certifications of “Principles and Techniques of Fundraising” and “Managing the Capital Campaign” from IUPUI’s Fundraising School. Diana lives in Lexington and attends Southland Christian Church. She loves spending time with her four children and walking their dog, Dolly Parton. She also enjoys traveling, kayaking, and volunteering in the community. 

When asked about her new role, Diana shared, “It is an honor and privilege to be selected for this position. I look forward to helping Lexington Christian Academy continue its mission of providing a Christ-centered education. I am excited to collaborate with Dr. Wells, executive leadership team, faculty and staff, and the board to build on LCA’s excellence.”
