Junior High

Teachers Praying Over a Student

FAITH SERVICE EXCELLENCE

Where faith and education develop character

Junior high is an ever-changing, exciting, and challenging time. Young teens thrive on attention from others, need acceptance from peers and desire to know more about the world around them. They are developmentally at the season of their lives when habits, character and values become solidified. It is our goal to provide a safe, secure, and encouraging environment where students grow in their independence and develop academically, socially, and spiritually as they prepare for high school.

My purpose here at LCA (and in life) is to go make disciples and at LCA, I call those disciples, Eagles (committed Christian leaders).

Program Highlights

An education aimed at Biblical transformation

Junior high students continue to develop life skills like critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity. The junior high provides students with the opportunity to grow and develop independence as they prepare for high school. This environment focuses on the moral and spiritual development of the students, so that they establish habits and practices in their lives to bring glory to God.

Curriculum

Our junior high curriculum is comprised of Bible, English, history, math, PE, science and an elective of the student’s choice. In addition, there is great emphasis on the moral development of each student by providing opportunities to develop personal integrity, leadership skills, and a desire to serve.

Chapel

Students in 6th – 8th grades come together once a week for our chapel service. In our chapel service, the students are given the opportunity to connect with God through worship and messages that will challenge them to deepen their relationship with Him and reinforce their foundation of God’s truth. Parents are always welcome to come.
