FAITH SERVICE EXCELLENCE

Where faith and education prepare students for a commissioned life

High school is the launching point for college, career, and the next phase of life for our students.  At LCA, we are committed to preparing our students with the critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills they need to thrive after high school.  More importantly, we equip them to live boldly as disciples of Christ ready to impact a world in need of His hope.

After thirty years teaching in public schools, LCA exceeded my expectations regarding the character of students, academic achievement and motivation, class size, and whole-school dedication to genuine Christian conduct. The rigor here is high, but the family atmosphere among students and staff made me wish this was the school in which I’d taught an entire career.

Program Highlights

An education equipping them for God's calling on their lives

High school is a pivotal season as students prepare for life beyond graduation.  At LCA, we provide strong academics, meaningful co-curriculars, and the unchanging Truth of God’s Word as their guide.  Our goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where every student feels known, valued, and equipped to purse their God-given calling.

Curriculum

At Lexington Christian Academy, our students will engage in lessons that expose them to biblical truths through Scripture and the application of Christian principles throughout all content areas. Students have the opportunity to take Honors, AP, Dual Credit, and a plethora of elective courses to prepare them as they exit high school.

Chapel

An integral part of our high school is the spiritual training our students receive through their Bible classes and weekly chapel programs. Led by our Spiritual Life Directors, chapel is designed to encourage and equip students to grow stronger in their faith as they prepare for college. As Christians, we are called to be our Lord’s “hands and feet.” Our students embrace this calling and serve in a variety of ways both in the Lexington community and beyond

Co-Curriculars

Sporting events, Homecoming, musical performances, leadership trips, Prom, outreach, studying for exams, and preparing for college are all part of our high school students' lives.
