Dear LCA Families,
Welcome to Lexington Christian Academy!
Whether you are exploring LCA for the very first time or have been part of our family for many years, I am truly honored to welcome you. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about who we are and what God is doing on our campus.
As I begin my first year serving as Interim Head of School, I do so with a heart full of gratitude, humility, and great anticipation. Over the past sixteen years, I have had the privilege of serving this incredible community as an English teacher, high school principal, and now in this new role. During that time, I have watched generations of students discover their gifts, grow in their faith, and step confidently into God’s calling for their lives. I can honestly say that Lexington Christian Academy is more than a school; it is a family.
Families today have countless educational choices. Many schools are known for outstanding academics, exceptional athletics, impressive fine arts programs, or innovative opportunities. We are committed to excellence in each of those areas because we believe our students deserve the very best, but those things are not what define us.
Our mission is to equip and nurture students to fulfill God’s calling on their lives through Christ-centered education. Every lesson taught, every game played, every performance given, every relationship formed, and every decision made is rooted in our desire to point students toward Jesus Christ. We want our graduates to leave our campus not only prepared for college and career, but equipped to lead with wisdom, serve with humility, and impact the world for God’s glory.
We also recognize that no school can fulfill that mission alone. The greatest impact occurs when parents, churches, and schools walk together in unity. We believe that partnership is one of the greatest strengths of Lexington Christian Academy, and we are grateful to walk alongside families as together we invest in the hearts and lives of our children.
Each year, our school community embraces a Scripture that serves as both our encouragement and our challenge. This year we will be guided by Hosea 10:12:
“Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord.”
Those words beautifully capture our prayer for this year. We want to be a community that continually seeks the Lord, never becoming satisfied with where we are spiritually, academically, or relationally. We believe God is preparing us for wonderful things, and we want our hearts to be ready for whatever He has planned.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the policy-making leadership of the school, entrusted with furthering the school's mission. To that end, the Board creates and implements written policies, ensures financial strength, and supports and evaluates the Head of School. Email the Board here.
