The LCA Boys Soccer program has long been a program focused on the development of the student- athlete. The program has strived to produce the best soccer players and the best men possible. Under current Head Coach Steve Fugmann, the future of LCA Boys Soccer looks bright!

Steve Fugmann
Varsity Boys Soccer Coach
Steve Fugmann is currently the high school health and PE teacher at LCA. Prior to coaching the LCA Boys Soccer Team, Coach Fugmann spent several years as the head coach of the LCA Girls Soccer team. He looks to bring success to the program on and off the field.
Mark Burroughs
Assistant Varsity Boys Soccer Coach/ Head Middle School Coach
Coach Burroughs has spent more than a decade on staff at LCA as the head coach of the LCA Junior High Soccer program, including six years as part of the high school soccer program. His philosophy has always been focused on doing the fundamentals well, competing hard, and always putting forth one's best. Coach Burroughs also teaches 7th grade geography in the junior high. He is married to wife, Kathy, who teaches preschool at LCA, and has two step-daughters. He also has a son, Erik who will be a senior and plays varsity soccer as the Eagles goalkeeper.
Zac Barnhart
Head JV Boys Soccer Coach/ Assistant Middle School Coach
Zac Barnhart graduated from LCA in 2016 and has since been a student at the University of Kentucky pursuing a degree in secondary social studies. He spent time at LCA from 2017-19 as an athletic intern and coordinator. Zac has coached junior high and high school boys soccer at LCA and loves getting the opportunity to invest in the school's student-athletes. He attends Southland Christian Church and enjoys hiking in his free time.
Evan Adams
Goalkeeper Coach
Born and raised in Lexington, Evan Adams played goalkeeper for Tates Creek throughout high school with two years of club soccer with LFC. He began his coaching career at LCA in 2016 before leaving Lexington to teach in Eastern Kentucky. While there, he coached for two years as the head coach of Letcher County Central High School. He returned to Lexington and now teaches at Lafayette High School.
