Why a Christian Education?

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom," writes Solomon.  "And knowledge of the Holy One is understanding" (Proverbs 9:10).  As students pursue the knowledge of math, biology and music in a Christian setting, they are gaining wisdom and understanding through a Biblical worldvew. God expects Christian parents to plant and nurture His Word in the hearts and minds of children.  This is best accomplished when home, church and school all send the same message, teaching God's truth with clarity, conviction and consistency.   An education that uses God's Word as its foundational text does more than produce spiritually-mature Christians. It better prepares them to enter the secular world to be a light to others.

Why Lexington Christian Academy?

They say, “If we don’t teach our children to follow Christ, the world will teach them not to.” Children spend around 1,000 hours per year in school. Knowing our kids are under the influence of Christ followers while being educated means everything. -Britney Moughamian

As people, God created us to be in fellowship with Him and to share Him, His Love, and His Son with all of those with whom we encounter on daily basis. Planting seeds and helping to cultivate the hearts of students through a Christian Education helps them to grow into persons who reflect His Light to the world and the people around them, as they, themselves, are drawn into a relationship God and His Son, Jesus. It is both an educational and personal journey through which Disciples are equipped and Kingdom building takes place. - Rebekah Straub, LCA Teacher

A desire for my child to receive biblical instruction as a part of her school day along with other subjects discussed with a biblical view. Opportunities to serve and grow in Christ while seeking to fulfill her purpose in God's kingdom. - LCA Parent

I am blessed each day to teach at LCA, because I am surrounded by wonderful coworkers who love the Lord. Going to school here was a great experience, and teaching here has opened my eyes even more to how special LCA truly is.  - Caitlin Kendall, LCA Alum and Teacher

We wanted her to have a Christ centered education in a positive learning environment, with significant less exposure to the worldly view on education and other distractions found in other educational arenas. - The Crawford Family

Our children are not only growing academically but they are being spiritually strengthened by the curriculum, teachers, and programs in place at LCA. The school provides a safe, nurturing environment for students. - The Picarazzi Family

From top to bottom, inside and out our LCA personnel (teachers, coaches, administrators, CBO, support staff, etc.) love the Lord and are willing to share their faith journey and how their personal relationship with Christ has positively impacted them.  Each employee recognizes the value of helping to disciple students and providing a quality Christian education and experience in all areas (academically, athletically, and the arts as well).  - Keith Galloway, High School Assistant Principal

For a Christ centered education, surrounded by the love of staff and teachers with similar biblical values and foundation. - LCA Parent

We knew that all day long loving Christian role-models would be educating our children from a worldview that has God at the center. LCA is an exemplary school for nurturing kids that know how to discern truth in an increasingly secular world. - LCA Family
